HISTORY

From a very young age, we were attracted by the stunning beauty that mother earth has to offer. There was always a look into the void on high, imagining the importance of each of the stars in the nighttime sky. This passion for nature’s gifts led us to discover the YACANA, which is the shape of the walking llama, which stops to feed her baby. Yacana in the native Quechua language, means the inner strength that every being has, even on their darkest side, there is an element of clarity because each species is endowed with the “kamac” or inner strength. Given the cultural and historical character of Cusco and its innumerable attractions, this incredible Inca City has become one of the main tourist destinations in Peru and the world.

OUR PHILOSOPHY:

To offer personalized responsible travel experiences respecting cultures and caring for the environment. The only way to give a personalized service is to create tours in small or private groups, not in large-sized tour groups. This allows our passengers to enjoy and get to know a country. For our travelers it is not only a trip, it is an experience of sharing cultures and customs.

Currently, the tourist environment is saturated by a large number of travel agencies that, for the most part, offer the same services and the same destinations. Another problem occurs with ghost agencies, which deceive visitors, receive payment for the service in advance and then simply disappear, then abandon or make the trip, but in terrible conditions and without any guarantee. Although it is true, the routes and destinations that are currently offered are iconic and representative of Cusco, we know that they are not the only destinations out there.

We came to realize that travelers’ interests have been changing. What they seek goes beyond simply getting to know the sights. Travelers want to live a unique and memorable experience and get involved with the local culture. It is precisely this point that opens us up to looking for new ways to travel and experience tourism in Peru.
